Us
YMCA
Youth & Family Services supports and strengthens individual and family
life. As the social services
department of the YMCA of San Diego
County, we provide essential assistance to abused children, at-risk youth,
and families in crisis. Project service areas include:
- Prevention and treatment of
child abuse
- Sheltered care for troubled
adolescents
- Prevention of violence,
gang activity, and drug abuse
- Independent living skills
and job training
- Family life
education/counseling and teen pregnancy prevention
- Youth leadership and
character skills development, self esteem, and respect for others and
the community
