We focus our work in three key areas, because nurturing the potential of kids, helping people live healthier, and supporting our neighbors are fundamental to strengthening communities.
School & Community enrichment
YFS provides elementary and middle school students countywide with a safe place to participate in academic support and enrichment activities during the critical hours before and after school. We also offer extensive services to the community, including a free drop-in after-school program and comprehensive technology center in North Park.

YFS is the social services department of the YMCA of San Diego County. We reach over 40,000 children, youth, and their families each year.
